Key Summary
To launch a successful technology career you will need more than just technical skills – you will need to understand your users and your business. The MSc Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship will teach you how to apply your existing undergraduate degree knowledge whilst developing your design skills and commercial understanding, by:
- Starting up your career and ideas in a professional-supported environment,
- Undertaking applied commercial projects in collaborative teams,
- Learning human-centred techniques for designing and developing ideas of real value.
We welcome students from any technology-based discipline who are considering building a career in technology-focused organisations or startups.
This programme shares much of its teaching with our other Innovation and Entrepreneurship programmes (MSc and MA). Still, it focuses specifically on the development and deployment of technology to create new value.
You will develop the high-level skills and critical competencies needed for successful organisational innovation and entrepreneurship, through a largely practice-orientated educational approach based on collaborative teamwork across disciplines and cultures.
During the programme, you get opportunities to work alongside technology businesses to develop a deep understanding of their opportunities and challenges.
