Key Summary

About : The MA in International Business focuses on the complexities of business in a global context. This program explores critical concepts such as international trade, global marketing, and cultural awareness. Students will develop skills to navigate diverse business environments and examine the impact of globalization on organizations. The degree typically requires one year of full-time study and offers opportunities for practical projects and case studies.
Career Outcomes : Graduates can pursue various roles in international business settings. Potential career paths include positions such as business analyst, international market manager, and global supply chain coordinator. Opportunities may exist in both multinational corporations and small businesses looking to expand internationally.

Studies launched in the 2014/2015 academic year in English in the field of Management with a specialization in International Management (currently: International Business; IB) are addressed to all those students who „reach higher” and are interested in acquiring business knowledge and skills together with raising language competences.

International Business is the only second-cycle degree program in the Podbeskidzie region fully implemented in English. IB is distinguished by the modern concept of education and the high quality of the study program based on proprietary curricula consulted with business partners of the major, which are international enterprises. International Business also means cultural diversity and the resulting international integration of students. IB students come from, among others from Ukraine, Germany, India, Bangladesh, Albania, Spain, Turkey, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic (some of them participate in the entire course of study, and some as part of 1-2 semesters of study under the Erasmus+ program). Lecturers give guest lectures from Cyprus, Great Britain, Spain, Slovakia, and Bulgaria. Another advantage of IB is the interdisciplinary character. Curricula include subjects in management, economics, law, psychology, and political science. As a result, our graduates acquire unique knowledge and practical skills valued by employers in the areas listed.
