Introduction

The objective of the Master in Statistics is to train specialists, in theory, methodology, and applications of statistical science. At the end of the program, it is expected that the graduate will acquire solid training in statistical techniques that will allow him to develop specific tasks in private companies, in public institutions, in interdisciplinary groups, in the teaching of statistics, and in consultancies that require of your competition.

The program graduate will be prepared to (i) propose, develop and implement methods that are their own in solving interdisciplinary problems, (ii) investigate and develop new theories for the development of their own statistics, (iii) continue their academic training in doctoral programs, (iv) integrate and manage interdisciplinary research and development groups, and (v) participate in the training of professionals in statistics or other disciplines that require them.
