Field of Physical Education

First-cycle studies in the field of Physical Education last 3 years (6 semesters) and end with a bachelor's degree. Depending on the chosen specialty, the graduate will be prepared, among others: to work as a physical education teacher or football coach.

Graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and skills enabling them to undertake didactic and educational work, promote healthy behaviors, independently plan and organize physical activity in social groups and with individual clients.

Depending on the chosen specialty, students undergo a number of internships, including: in schools, sports clubs, sports and recreation centers or partly in the form of volunteering (e.g. as in 2014 - participating in the Men's Volleyball World Championships) .

Specialties launched during studies:

  • Coaching (football) - specialization Football Instructor with the Possibility of Raising Qualifications to the UEFA C Coach Degree (in the third year)
  • Teaching (physical education with correction of posture defects)

Graduate profile

A graduate of Physical Education will have qualifications allowing him to work, among others, in sports and recreation centers, schools and educational institutions, sports clubs, social and local government organizations related to physical culture and independent forms of business activity (e.g. personal trainer, sports instructor, etc.).

Graduates of the Institute of Physical Culture can continue their education at second-cycle studies, e.g. in Szczecin at the University of Szczecin, in Poznań at the Academy of Physical Education or at the Academy of Physical Education in Wrocław, receiving a university diploma.
