To qualify for the title of Doctor, the candidate must pass 139 credits, pass the knowledge exam and present and support the Thesis, with publication of at least one scientific article with original results of their research and must take a national or international internship of between 3 and 6 months of duration.

Program methodologies: The Doctorate in Veterinary Sciences (DCV) uses different teaching strategies such as the master class, the research seminar, the development of skills for the search, selection and interpretation of scientific information, and for the design and execution of research autonomously and the execution of the Thesis. The theoretical foundation subjects are concentrated in the first three levels of the program.
