Introduction

The Bachelor's degree programme INGINERIA OF FOOD PRODUCTS has as its general objective the training of technological specialists in the field of food industry; this program has been operating since 2009, being accredited in 2015 and has a duration of 4 years of studies, a day course with 240 credits, according to the Bologna Agreement. Graduates accumulate during the period of studies the theoretical, technical and managerial knowledge necessary to be prepared to successfully face the competitiveness of the labour market at national and international level, having the possibility to operate in extremely diverse fields, in the technologies of all sub-branches in the food industry, (including in the directions of biotechnology and bioengineering), both in the country and abroad. The major objectives of the programme provide for the theoretical and practical training of students for the knowledge of modern technologies in the field of food production, the knowledge and application of measures to increase the quality of food products, the design and operation of technological lines for processing agri-food products, the knowledge of the legislation in the field.
