The career of Social Work at the Academy is oriented to solid and articulated theoretical and practical training, which facilitates an integrative vision of professional action.

Graduates establish a critical and committed relationship with the realities they must face in the development of their disciplinary and professional practice, assuming leadership in the search for social justice, the promotion of democratic values ​​and the transformation of society.

They intervene in social reality in an integral way, articulating disciplinary-theoretical learning with social practice, designing intervention strategies in the national social context, which allow the overcoming of social conflicts.

He relates his professional practice to different social contexts, showing an open, critical, inclusive and reflective attitude to dialogue with the community, organizations and the different subjects and / or social actors.
