Program overview

This program combines theory and practice. It trains bilingual nurses capable of working in different health care delivery contexts.

By the end of the program, you will have developed your clinical judgment and valuable interpersonal skills. You will be able to put into practice the many knowledge you will have acquired to practice the nursing profession.

At the Université de Saint-Boniface , teaching is offered in French, in a new and ultramodern science pavilion. Some laboratories are reproductions of hospital rooms! It's unique in Canada!

The courses cover a wide range of subjects, including:

The school has two admissions: one in September for all programs and one in January for university programs only. However, between May 1, 2022 and July 1, 2022, Canadians will still be able to register for the start of the September re-entry, while internationals will have to wait until the next re-entry, either in January 2023 or September 2023, according to their program.

Practical training

Various urban and rural internships are offered. The program includes nine internships (for a total of nearly 1,500 hours) essential to training. These internships cover a host of topics: family care, mental health, community health, complex care, etc.

Additional information

If you did not go to school in Canada, you will need to take an English test to be admitted to the program. Our program will allow you to pass the Canadian Nursing Entry Examination (NCLEX-RN).
