This program is designed to equip students with the skills needed to tackle complex engineering challenges.
Career Outcomes: Graduates can explore various career paths in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, energy, and manufacturing. They may work as mechanical engineers, project managers, or research and development specialists.

Introduction

Mechanical Engineering is one of the basic pillars of the consumer and equipment industry. In the last two decades, it has undergone significant development with the incorporation of new technologies that have allowed solving old problems, addressing new fields and, ultimately, being at the forefront of product development and innovation.

This demands specialists in the design of mechanical components and systems who have solid training both in the theoretical foundations of these new technologies and in the practical use of the tools that incorporate them. These specialists are mainly required to master numerical techniques for analysis of mechanical components and systems that have revolutionized the mechanical design process. This allows a more agile process that facilitates the path towards the development of optimized products to fulfill the function for which they are intended, with which companies in the sector gain competitiveness.

It is also necessary that these specialists have solid training in the fields related to the design of mechanical components and systems, such as representation systems, material selection procedures, behavior tests in service (resistance to fatigue, vibrations, noise emission , .) without forgetting the manufacturing processes, all within a changing and competitive environment.
