Key Summary

About : The PEIP Program offers an innovative learning experience, focusing on developing advanced skills in professional engineering. This is a full-time program designed for aspiring engineers who seek to excel in their careers and apply engineering principles effectively. Students will engage in hands-on projects and real-world problem-solving to enhance their learning outcomes and professional competencies.
Career Outcomes : Graduates of the PEIP Program can pursue various career opportunities in engineering fields, including roles such as project engineer, design engineer, and quality assurance specialist. The program prepares students for the dynamic demands of the engineering industry, equipping them with skills that are highly valued by employers.

PEIP Program

The PEIP is a UPMC preparatory course reserved for high school science graduates.

The general objectives common to the “Polytech Engineering Schools Programs” network are the following:

  • national recruitment for a national network
  • classes in a bachelor’s program associating basic science, technology, and general training
  • specific classes and individual tutoring for engineering students
  • contact with the industrial sector: business knowledge, participation from industrial sector professionals, internships in France and abroad, etc.

The PEIP is also open to non-French speaking students from foreign schools and universities, with admission based on a written application and an interview in their native language. In these cases, the first year content of the PEIP will be spread over two years and combined with adapted French classes.

Opportunities

At the end of these 2 years, students who successfully complete their PEIP have direct access to, and priority for, a school in the Polytech network.

Placement in one of the schools depends on the student's preference, specializations offered and places available.

Length of studies: 5 years for the engineering diploma, two of which are spent in the PEIP.
