Key Summary

About : The Master of Aerospace Engineering provides in-depth knowledge of aerodynamics, propulsion, structures, and materials. This course covers topics essential for designing and producing aircraft and spacecraft. Students engage in practical projects and develop skills through advanced simulations and laboratories. The program typically spans one to three years and offers opportunities for research and collaboration with industry partners.
Career Outcomes : Graduates can pursue various career paths in aerospace design, manufacturing, and research. Potential roles include aerospace engineer, systems engineer, and project manager. Opportunities also exist in government agencies, private companies, and academic institutions.

Important Aeronautical multinationals and a vibrant, specialized Aerospace ecosystem of SMEs are present in the University’s neighborhood such as Leonardo’s Aircrafts and Helicopters divisions and AVIO GE. The Apulian Regional Aeronautics District is located at the same premises in which the Course is held. In such a context, Aerospace Engineering provides all theoretical and practical knowledge on the whole set of topics relating to the Aerospace field, i.e. Flight Mechanics (both Atmospheric and Spatial), Aerospace Structures and Construction; Aerospace Systems and Installations, Fluid Dynamics, Aerospace Propulsion and Industrial Engineering Design and Methods.

The Course is organized to offer its students the choice among three tracks: Aerospace Design, Aerospace Technology, and Aerospace Systems each providing a high level of interdisciplinary teaching ensured by topics common to all tracks and related to: material sciences and technologies, energetic systems and related environmental impact, mechanical, management and electrical engineering disciplines, automation, and information engineering.
