Key Summary
Introduction
The Master in International Screenwriting and Production (MISP) is a postgraduate master's program that aims at creating professionals working in the entertainment business (mainly screenwriters, story editors, and producers), providing them with a thorough understanding of the audio-visual industry and a strong knowledge of the storytelling techniques, which are the heart of every project of feature film and television series.
The Master is organized in collaboration with Fondazione Perseus and is part of a unique network of top companies and professionals in the entertainment industry in Italy, the USA, the UK, and other European countries.
Some of the companies which have been offering internships and working on special projects are: Atlantyca, Calon, Eliseo, Cattleya, Colorado, DeAgostini, Disney, Dugong, Fremantle, Lux vide, Mediaset, Medusa, Movimenti, Netflix, Palomar, Publispei, Raicinema, Raifiction, Showlab, Sky and 3Zero2 among others.
The MISP master program is characterized by the extremely high percentage of alumni who work successfully as writers or producers in the audio-visual industry: they have been authors of thousands of hours of prime-time TV series and a good number of feature films, many of them highly successful and with a big International impact.
The Faculty is highly International and gathers top professionals from America and from some of the main European industries. In the past years, there have been lectures by Oscar nominees and winners such as William Nicholson (Shadowlands, Gladiator, Les Miserables), David Seidler (The King’s Speech), and Randall Wallace (Braveheart, The Man in the Iron Mask, We Were Soldiers).
The Master's will allow students to acquire the required knowledge to work in the entertainment industry, both as writers and/or professionals working in production or distribution companies, TV networks, talent agencies, or as production assistants. Students will receive comprehensive and high-level training that effectively combines the academic expertise of university professors with the professional know-how of high-ranking professionals with international profiles.

Total ECTS: 60
Five disciplines will be subject to a specific exam at the end of the class (around June 2019). The credits will be acquired according to the following exam:
