Introduction

TEACHERS ARE SEARCHED FOR STUDIES BY ENERGY UTILITIES

Unisanta's Electrical Engineering Course is in tune with the insertion of new technologies involving the areas of generation, transmission and distribution of electric energy, considering the integration of new sources of renewable energy, such as wind, solar, biomass, etc. In this context, it focuses on conceptual and practical professional training in applications related to installation design, analysis of electrical networks, machines and electrical power equipment, protection and control systems.

To adapt to the needs of the market, aiming at targeted training, the Course maintains agreements and exchanges with technology borrowing companies, electricity concessionaires, research institutes and other universities in Brazil and abroad.

The integration of students with the market also occurs through the possibility of participating in research and development projects for electric energy concessionaires under the regulation of ANEEL - National Electric Energy Agency, involving Unisanta students and alumni.

Artificial Intelligence – robotics - The Electrical Engineering course is part of the Electronic Research Center of the University and the groups of Applied Paraconsistent Logic in Intelligent Systems and in Automation and Robotics, official with CNPQ - National Council for Scientific and Technological Development. This participation encourages the production of scientific works and research in the area of Artificial Intelligence Robotics, a national reference, with the participation of students in the condition of scientific initiation and in the preparation of Course Completion Works (TCCs), meeting the real needs of companies technology takers.

The Institution, and consequently the Course, is accredited by the National Petroleum Agency (ANP), in the area of control and automation, for the execution of research and development projects for the oil and gas sectors.

The teaching staff of Unisanta's Electrical Engineering Course is formed by doctors, masters and specialists in specific areas, who work in the area of electrical engineering with extensive professional experience in companies, guaranteeing not only a solid conceptual formation in the fundamental aspects of engineering, but also an adequate view of application in the various market segments of the area.

Students have been selected as international scholarship holders in the Science without Borders Program of MEC, in addition to PIBIC and FAPESP scholarships, with excellent academic results.
