Introduction
The Pedagogical Project of the UNIFENAS Nursing Course leads to the training of generalist professionals and addresses actions that improve teaching for the training of those committed to improving the life of the community.
The knowledge essential to the training of professional nurses is developed during the course in various activities such as: theoretical and practical classes, complementary and integrative activities, internships, extension and scientific initiation programs, course completion work and activities that simulate the professional environment , with the aim of meeting the skills (knowledge, skills and attitudes) inherent to the profession and also the requirements of the job market. Therefore, UNIFENAS intends not only to prepare its academics for the job market, but also to awaken in them a critical perception of society's problems, overcoming the simple repetitive transmission of knowledge and seeking the creation of new expressions of knowledge, based on reality. and expectations of the society in which it operates.
