The professional graduated in the History Course at the Federal University of Uberlândia will be able to exercise the work of Historian, in all its dimensions, which assumes full mastery of the constitution of the field of historical knowledge itself, of the main theoretical aspects that guide historical analyzes and the essential practices of its production and socialization. It will also be able to meet the demand for trained professionals to carry out research activities and the organization of documentary collections in public and private institutions, such as museums, public archives, memory centers, in addition to providing advice to companies or institutions that undertake actions in the area of History, as publishers, film producers, that is, to act in activities that involve collective and social memory.
