Introduction
A nutritionist is a health professional who studies food and its interaction in the human body, being qualified to develop a food plan capable of meeting the nutritional needs of each individual, contributing to the improvement of the population's quality of life through food.
In Unigranrio's Nutrition course, the student understands the functioning of human metabolism, the technical skills of nutrition and dietetics, correlating this knowledge with other sciences in which Nutrition is present. In this way, it guarantees the food and nutrition security of the population through actions to promote and/or restore health, disease prevention and changes in the quality of life of individuals and/or the community.
