Key Summary
The objective of the joint degree is to provide comprehensive training that complements skills and competencies for analyzing and interpreting social realities with mastery of specific tourism business management tools and techniques, providing an in-depth understanding of existing historical and cultural heritage, and incorporating practical English language skills that equip you to work as a tour guide.
This training will enable you to join companies or organizations in the tourism sector and perform functions related to corporate and institutional management, tourist destination management, commercial management of tourism intermediaries, hotels, travel agencies, or any other public or private, national or international entity related to tourism.
The joint degree in tourism and geography and history is aimed at students interested in learning about and appreciating different cultures, civilizations, and social realities; with a special interest in art and historical and cultural heritage; with strong communication skills and a knack for learning new languages; capable of working in teams and in multicultural settings; with initiative, creativity, and a willingness to serve others.
