Introduction

The Master's in Biomedical Engineering seeks to strengthen and enhance the studies of the Degree in Biomedical Engineering, providing students with a broad spectrum of training, which responds to the needs of having highly qualified technical personnel to design and apply new and advanced technologies in the health field, and thus complete a training that covers all the stages and aspects related to health technologies and products.

It is taught in collaboration with the Complejo Hospitalario Universitario de Vigo, with part of the training at its facilities. This dual training design responds to the new requirements of training that combines teaching in university centers with that to be developed by professionals in the health sector, thus combining technical-scientific training and technological practice, with adequate training in the basic disciplines of medicine, which allows the graduates of this master's degree to solve any specific engineering problem that arises in the health field.
