Introduction
The Master's Degree in Unmanned Aerial Systems, taught jointly by the University of Santiago de Compostela and the University of Vigo, is one of the few official university master's degrees in this field in our country. It is sponsored by the Galician Innovation Agency GAIN and the RPAS-UO group of the University of Oviedo also collaborates in its teaching. As it is an official title within the EHEA (European Higher Education Area), it is not only highly valued at a professional level, but it is also recognized in public calls for scholarships and oppositions. In addition, it allows access to doctoral programs, writing a doctoral thesis or doing research in this highly specialized field.

Ideal Students
The Master's design is aimed at three types of students:
- Aeronautical engineers who wish to acquire additional knowledge on the specific technological areas of UAS, their specific regulations, as well as how to operate in all their spectrums of use. In addition, refresher training is provided in the main specific areas of aeronautical engineering. This refresher training is also used as a fundamental basis for the rest of the students described below.
- Non-aeronautical engineers who wish to work in the field of UAS as part of their various areas of technical specialization, acquiring fundamental knowledge in Aeronautical Engineering, as well as specific regulations and the different ways of operating these Systems.
- Operators of advanced unmanned systems who wish to acquire or deepen their knowledge of the technological and regulatory fundamentals of these systems, as a complement to their training in operations.
