The interest of the degree is determined by the characteristics of the two basic subjects that constitute it: Automation and Industrial Electronics. These matters have driven an important change in economic activity due to the greater presence of automation and intelligence in increasingly complex processes and products, supported by information technology and communications. Nowadays, a production line cannot be conceived without a high degree of automation and management through computerized methods and integrated at various levels.
Current products and systems tend towards greater functionality and precision, based on the integration of computer components, sensors and microelectronics. This is the field of action of the Degree in Engineering in Industrial Electronics and Automation.
