It aims to train professionals in the chemical industry sector. In this sector, which in Spain represents the fourth largest industrial sector (approx. 10%), professionals carry out research, development, design, engineering and process control tasks in various fields (timber companies, petrochemicals, steel, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic industry etc.).

Income profile
Although the Faculty of Chemistry does not have a defined ideal profile for access to the degree, it is highly recommended to have taken the subjects of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics in the second year of Baccalaureate (this is not always possible since they are not compatible in all Secondary schools).
In addition, it is advisable to access the degree with the ability to abstract and reason scientifically, together with the ability to work continuously to make adequate progress in the acquisition of knowledge and skills.
