Introduction
The Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence provides the broad, in-depth, and multidisciplinary training required by professionals in this field, which is essential for successfully building the intelligent services and applications that are having such a significant impact on our lives at all levels.
This is an interuniversity degree within the Galician University System, lasting four years (240 ECTS credits). The subjects of the first two years are shared by all three universities (A Coruรฑa, Santiago, and Vigo). In the third and fourth years, the University of Vigo focuses on Intelligent Information Systems (IIS).
Information Systems (ISS) are the natural evolution of information systems, integrating large-volume data processing techniques through distributed computing systems and utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms and strategies for more efficient management closer to human decision-making.
SIIs generate and incorporate capabilities that allow them to exhibit flexible and creative behavior, cooperating with both users and other systems in data retrieval, processing, generation, and problem resolution.
