Master in Cybersecurity
This Master in Cybersecurity is aligned, on the one hand, with the training offer provided by the University of Aveiro in the field of informatics, on the other, with the educational project of the Institution and, finally, with the national and European strategies in terms of cybersecurity, having as main objectives:
- Provide companies with senior executives qualified in the area of cybersecurity;
- Promote advanced training focused on innovation, development and research in cybersecurity;
- Encourage young graduates in Informatic Engineering or similar to carry out research and development work with a view to obtaining a Master's degree;
- Encourage active workers to carry out training and advanced research, with a view to obtaining a Master's degree.

Program Outcome
The Master in Cybersecurity aims to provide advanced technical and scientific training in the area of cybersecurity, promoting the development of personal and interpersonal skills appropriate to work in a professional or academic context, namely:
- Conceive, design and implement protection systems;
- Understand and apply the regulatory frameworks in force;
- Solve complex problems in cybersecurity and cyber defense;
- Perform experimental work using appropriate theoretical bases;
- Explore methodologies and techniques for identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities and protection of services and systems;
- Promote technological progress in an academic and business context;
- Studying, evaluating and implementing innovative ideas and conducting significant research while respecting the requirements imposed by the standards of quality and business and academic integrity.
