Master in Competitiveness and Business Development

The master aims to deliver a solid and updated learning experience to professionals with 5 years or more of working experience, making them capable to contribute to business development by acquiring advanced technical competencies in the field of management, which are threefold: 1. Diagnosis of the problems that need to be solved; 2. Selection of adequate tools and models; 3. Application of these tools and models in business setting.

In line with the needs and requirements of the business setting, the course includes fundamental themes related to the management field, competitiveness, marketing, international business and business development, and promotes active learning, initiative and autonomy. Problem-solving activities and decision-making processes in a global setting are transversal in the course units, and contemporary topics e.g. Digital Economy, Industry 4.0, are seen as part of the global setting where businesses operate.
