Master in Community Nursing, Area of Family Health Nursing
- To promote the development of knowledge and advanced intervention methodologies in the specialized area of Family Health Nursing (FHN);
- To train for critical reflection in the areas of specialized care, promoting autonomous, reflective decision-making and based on the most advanced scientific evidence;
- To train for the development of scientific research aiming at qualified responses according to the specificities of the people and families, according to their life cycle stage and adaptive developmental contexts;
- To promote the development of transversal skills to integrate knowledge, manage cases of health vulnerability/risk, manage complex situations, develop solutions or make judgments, including ethical and deontological reflections that result or condition clinical FHN;
- To promote the development of specialized skills to integrate multidisciplinary and interprofessional teams leading to an integrated health promotion intervention aimed at individuals and families, throughout the life cycle and/in moments of adaptation to the transition.
