Introduction
Graduate Specialisation Program in Ceramic Technology
This course, in partnership with the Technological Center for Ceramics and Glass (CTCV), is intended to be a training offer for senior management of companies in the Ceramic Industry in Portugal with basic training in other areas of knowledge. The materials for the integration of staff in the companies, despite adequate training with their ceramic processes and processes, are the only necessary and necessary that run through the entire production cycle of the ceramic product.
Training in Ceramic Technology is intended to be innovative for a number of reasons:
- seeks to respond to the new challenges of the ceramic production sector, covering the following fundamental pillars: i) Technology (raw materials, process and product); ii) Sustainability (energy efficiency, circularity, environmental certification); iii) Digital Transition (control and command of production processes);
- the teaching will take place in a hybrid regime with online theoretical modules and practical classes in a face-to-face regime;
- will comprise two curricular units with a practical component to take place partially in companies;
- will have a significant percentage of guest professors from partner companies and other external experts.
