The Film Program proposes a space for creation and reflection for filmmakers, visual artists, photographers, playwrights, writers, and researchers interested in embarking on an intense production experience for a year.

What defines the modus operandi of the Film Program is precisely the constant performance, at a rate that might seem foolish, of one job per week, throughout the year. The mechanics are as follows: the group of participants is divided into groups of approximately 5 members: each week, taking turns in directing or authorship, they present an exercise. During eight months of class, we attend 5 short films - or "pieces" - per week. It is a dizzying process of filming, editing, exhibition, reassembly, and permanent reflection, trial, and error, in which coordinates are sometimes lost. Perhaps that is, deep down, one of the objectives sought: to misplace familiar and established procedures, shake off the rigidity of preconceptions, and find ideas through sheer practice. The procedure could be based on the words of Goethe: "There is such a delicate form of the empirical that it automatically becomes a theory."
