Introduction

The Degree in Social Education at UFV is a four-year degree with which you will be able to educate and transform society in multiple environments of social need. It represents an opportunity to reach populations and human realities with great care needs. Social educators carry out their professional activity in various professional areas and fields of intervention (international organizations, public administration, associations, foundations, social organizations...). In addition, at UFV you will have the opportunity to choose between two specialization itineraries: Intervention in situations of social exclusion or Family care and care for the elderly. The degree in Social Education trains professionals capable of educating, intervening, mediating and transforming society in environments where there is a need. Social educators reach people with special care needs and help them improve their quality of life and their social relationships.
