This University Master's Degree has been the first Official Master's Degree offered in Spain in the field of classical antiquity from a linguistic and literary perspective. It has been organised and taught since the 2006 by the Departments of Classical and Indo-European Philology of the University of Salamanca and Classical Philology of the University of Valladolid.
