Master of Philosophy

The Master's Program in Philosophy is intended to train specialists in the field of Philosophy and in the management of the theories and research methods that are applied to this field.

The objective of the Program is to provide knowledge about the fundamental issues and problems that are investigated and discussed in different areas of the discipline. It is also oriented to deliver the necessary elements to develop teaching and research in philosophical matters.

Upon completing their studies, the graduate should be able to undertake advanced teaching and/or research tasks through reflection, the acquisition of conceptual and theoretical tools, as well as the strengthening of philosophical, analytical, and critical skills. Once the Program is completed, the graduate will have acquired competences in matters of philosophy, by combining their research interests and specialization, with the pluralism and academic diversity typical of our faculty.
