Program Outcome
The Master is offered for all graduates in Health Sciences who would like to begin their path in the field of research.
In addition, the electives allow the student to join/work with the main research groups of the Faculty of Health Sciences during their master studies. Through their choice of the proposed electives, students will be able to deepen, according to their interests, aspects such as:
- The establishment of mechanisms that evaluate the results in health from the perspective of the patient is an indicator of the effectiveness of the applied sanitary procedures.
- Analysis of the potential effects that politics, strategies, and plans have on health and public health through the use of gender, class, and ethnic studies as a notable tool to understand etiology and the control of illness in women and men.
- The acquisition of the cultural dimension of care, identifying different cultures as the main origin of transcultural nursing
- The design of coherent research studies with the priorities of research in nursing and community health.
