Bachelor's Degree Program in Early Childhood Education + Psychology
The Double Degree in Early Childhood Education + Psychology from UCJC and the HM Faculty of Health Sciences at UCJC prepares you for two professions that are as exciting as they are necessary: the education of children from 0 to 6 years old and child psychology.
In the Early Childhood and Primary Education degree, your high qualification will come from adding a high level of internationalization to the degree training: training from two Harvard Project ZERO programs: “Pedagogy of Play” and “Learning Outside-In”, the Reggio Emilia pedagogy, training in emotion management through the RULER method (Yale University) and, exclusive to the face-to-face modality, our SEK Didactic Campus, which will complement the curricular subjects and practicum with real classroom experience at SEK International Schools.
The Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, for its part, boasts a faculty of professors who combine research with professional practice. Their experience and the use of a highly practical methodology will allow you to acquire the most up-to-date skills and tools in the psychology profession.
You will be trained through active methodologies such as case studies, problem-based learning, inquiry-based learning, collaborative learning, flipped classroom, and visual thinking. You will have over a thousand hours of practical experience and will obtain accreditation to teach in the more than 3,500 international schools that offer IB® programs.
