Bachelor of Information Technology (Information Systems) (Hons) is specifically designed to equip students with IS-specific knowledge and skills in addition to general computing, as well as business fundamentals in various economic sectors.
This program is for students who want to design and implement effective business solutions to meet organizational and management needs for information and decision support system. Graduates of the Bachelor of Information Technology (Information Systems) (Hons) program are ideally positioned to take a leading role in shaping the information-based future. Students completing the program will be well exposed and grounded in the fundamentals of the information system, organization theory, strategic planning, project management, decision making, teamwork and leadership, and conducting research as well as current and emerging information systems technologies.

Curriculum
Academic Advising
Upon entry into the program, the student will be assigned to an academic advisor. The advisor is responsible for helping the student do well academically and succeed in graduating. The advisor can help with many things, including being sure the course schedule for each term is appropriate; getting help for any special problems the student may have; explaining academic procedures, and helping to increase students' understanding of the IT curriculum.
