The International University of La Rioja offers a Master's Degree in Screenwriting, which will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop professionally in the creation of screenplays for television or film.
The main objective of the Master in Audiovisual Scriptwriting is to provide students with theoretical and practical tools so that they are able to develop their own scripts at a creative level and equip them with strategies to then sell them in the audiovisual market.
Upon completion, you will receive an official Master's degree and 60 ECTS credits.
This university master's degree is aimed at all those people in possession of a university degree who wish to specialize in scriptwriting in order to be able to dedicate themselves professionally to this activity in the audiovisual field.
- To offer the advanced training necessary for competent professional development in the creation and writing of audiovisual fiction scripts.
- The aim is for students to be able to conceive and write a fiction script for series, miniseries, TV movies, and short films. This work will be supervised by screenwriters with extensive professional experience.
- To also offer the precise information to understand in depth and effectively those aspects of the audiovisual industry that allow you to approach the appropriate bodies - and with the appropriate procedures - to present your proposals effectively.
- Acquisition of sufficient legal and audiovisual business management knowledge necessary to develop the professional activity of a screenwriter.
- To understand the current sociocultural reality.
- To achieve a high level of mastery of written and audiovisual expression techniques in all their registers (argumentation, description, narration, etc.).
