The UNINORTE Economic Sciences course aims to train professionals committed to the study of the Brazilian and Amazonian reality, with social awareness, prepared to face and analyze the political, economic and social transformations that are taking place in the current world, in order to contribute to improve the quality of life of the Brazilian population and, in particular, of our region.
Professionals in the area of Economics can work in the public sector, performing the following functions: Ministries, Secretariats, State-owned companies, Congress, Legislative Power, Defense of markets, National Taxation System. Or in the private sector in National and Multinational companies, import and export, international organizations, class entities, research, media, consulting, stock exchanges and financial market. The Economist can also act as a businessman, entrepreneur and teacher.
