Introduction
The Single Cycle Masterโs Degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Milano-Bicoccaโs School of Medicine and Surgery (SMS) is a six-year program designed to train future physicians through an innovative and interdisciplinary curriculum. Offered in partnership with the University of Surrey (UK), the University of Bergamo, and the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital, it belongs to Class LM-41 and requires 360 CFUs to obtain the degree.
Based in Bergamo, the program integrates basic medical sciences with early clinical training from the second year, fostering critical thinking, scientific rigour, and a holistic approach to healthcare. Students develop professional skills through a multidisciplinary and patient-centered educational experience.
Graduates have access to a wide range of speciality training pathways and are well-prepared for careers in both national and international healthcare settings. The program also provides a strong foundation for research and global health initiatives.

The University of Milano-Bicocca offers residences to students living away from home. Residences are offered according to the Right to Education principle to students who meet the requirements to obtain accommodation at a reduced price.
