Introduction
The Master's Degree in Economics and Technologies of Sustainability, classified under the LM-76 category, is an interdisciplinary program designed to address global challenges through economics, technology, and sustainability. The program equips students with the skills to tackle issues such as resource scarcity, energy challenges, sustainable production, circular economies, and the socio-political aspects of sustainability.
The curriculum covers topics like renewable and non-renewable resource economics, environmental economics, sustainable technologies, energy storage, carbon neutrality, waste valorization, and sustainability strategies for businesses. Students gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience through specialized labs.
Graduates will be prepared to work as โSustainability Specialistsโ or โTech-Economists,โ bridging economic and technological solutions for sustainable development in both the public and private sectors. Admission requires a background in economics, science, or related disciplines. The program will be activated in the 2025-2026 academic year, subject to approval by the relevant authorities.
