Key Summary
Born from a collective desire of recognized professionals, researchers, and the Hippolia competitiveness cluster, the Advanced-Master Science and Management of the equine sector is based on the following:
- The ambition to contribute to the development of the sector,
- The passion for horses,
- A dual skill, science & management in an international context
Through targeted courses, collaborative projects, visits to different types of players in the sector and an international mission, students acquire complete expertise in the world of horses.
The profesionnal immersion of at least four months constitutes the practical anchor point, allowing the direct mobilization of knowledge in a real professional context, thus strengthening operational expertise.
Today supported by UniLaSalle & supported by Pôle Hippolia, the only French competitiveness cluster in the equine sector, the MS®️ MESB benefits from the experience, networks and academic and research expertise of the institute and the cluster.
- Know, master, mobilize and produce highly specialized knowledge in equine sciences
- Understand, analyze and develop the activities of the equine industry at national and international level.
- Manage a portfolio of projects. Master the administrative, commercial, operational and strategic management of your professional activity.
- Ensure sustainable development and CSR of your company in the equine sector. Consolidate managerial, sales and marketing performance in a context of increased and/or international competition.
- Accompany, advise, set up, take over and manage a company in the equine industry as part of a sustainable development and social responsibility approach.
This training program aims to train future professional managers with a dual expertise:
- a general understanding of advanced technical issues in equine health, reproduction, nutrition and breeding ;
- illustrated skills in management, marketing, sales and strategy.
Thanks to a varied teaching method based on the experience of the lecturers & exchanges, students will acquire comprehensive expertise in the horse world, both in France and internationally.
After 8 months of coursework, a minimum four-month internship provides a practical anchor. The direct mobilization of knowledge in a real-life professional context reinforces the students' operational expertise.
