The Graduate Program in Education (PPGE) has its research trajectory closely linked to the tricentennial pedagogical tradition of the Institute of the Brothers of Christian Schools in the world and, particularly, with the secular presence of the schools of the Rede La Salle in Brazil. The Universidad La Salle has been working for more than 40 years in Higher Education in the municipality of Canoas in the state of Rio Grande do Sul and the Metropolitan Region of Porto Alegre. PPGE privileges its research through partnerships with the municipal and state authorities in the training of teachers and in the implementation of public policies in the area of ​​Education.
