Introduction
General objective
The student will be able to identify the main traditions and visions that, from the power structures
public, determine the design and content of social development policies in Mexico.
Specific objectives:
The student will be able to:
Identify the most relevant analysis perspectives on social development.
Analyze the relationship between economic development and social development in development theories.
Understand the relevance of theories of justice to evaluate the different types of policies and
social programs.
Acquire the basic conceptual elements to distinguish the implications of the different types of
social policies and their economic, political and legal implications.
