Key Summary
Introduction
This program is designed to introduce students to the wholeness of biology through an integrative perspective of the structure and function of biological systems at all levels from molecular to the biosphere, combining theoretical knowledge with practical abilities to collect data from field and laboratories, analyzing and interpreting them.
It is appropriate for students who wish to work as biologists in laboratories, hospitals, museums, consulting companies, administrations of protected areas, research or to teach in secondary schools and high schools. Graduates may continue their education in the field by enrolling in the Applied Biology program organized within the same department.
Faculty of Sciences
The Faculty of Sciences, through its diverse educational areas - mathematics, informatics, environment sciences, physics, physical education and sports holds a special position within ULBS, ensuring the achievement of top-quality education, permanently developed and improved through a complex research activity so that it could meet the exigences and the means offered by the cognitive society based on cognition.
