    About : The Bachelor of Arts in Music offers students a comprehensive foundation in music theory, history, and performance. This program develops skills in music composition and analysis, preparing students to engage creatively and critically with diverse musical styles. You'll explore the cultural significance of music and participate in various performance opportunities throughout the course.
    Career Outcomes : Graduates can pursue various career paths, including music education, performance, music therapy, and arts administration. Opportunities may also exist in sound design, music production, and freelance composition work in different media contexts.

The 1st semester runs from February to June, and the 2nd semester runs from July to November each year. If you are registered for the BA in Music foundation programme, your degree has 4 successive levels: Foundational level à Level 1 à Level 2 à Level 3. Each level has 8 modules, 4 in the 1st semester and 4 in the 2nd semester.

The degree is designed to allow students to focus on different areas in the study of music. There are 3 streams in this degree:

  • Performance,
  • Theory and Composition,
  • Research.
