Introduction
The Master's Program in Clinical Pharmacy provides pharmacists with expertise in clinics and the ability to work with other healthcare providers to give optimum healthcare. The program is designed with an emphasis on mastering the theories and the clinical practice; therefore, the outcomes of this program will be the mainstay of the pharmacist profession as expected. It has been accredited both nationally and internationally accredited (by Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik e. V (ASIIN) since 2020). The program is designed to be completed in 4 semesters with a total of 43 credit semester units (CSUs) consisting of lectures (18 CSUs), clinical internship (15 CSUs), and thesis (10 CSUs).
The first semester includes lectures, and the second semester includes lectures, thesis proposal preparation, and clinical internship. The third semester and the fourth semesters cover clinical internship, thesis work, and writing of publication. The master’s students are required to participate in a community empowerment program before completing the study. They also have the opportunity to do international mobility activities, which may include internships in Malaysian and Thai hospitals, research by joining supervision with institution partners, and participation in international seminars. The graduate of the Master Program in Clinical Pharmacy at UGM will obtain the title of M.Clin.Pharm.

- To conduct and advance education, research, and community service in line with advancements in science and technology in clinical pharmacy, while upholding ethics and morality, rooted in Pancasila, and serving the nation’s and humanity’s interests
