Introduction
The Higher Technician in Prosthetic Audiology is an official degree, lasting two years and 120 ECTS, in which you will learn to select and adapt prostheses, make molds and hearing protectors, or define acoustic protection measures.
With the FP in Prosthetic Audiology, you will develop your knowledge and skills thanks to having access to the latest generation prosthetic and hearing evaluation tools. Plus, you'll learn the most effective way: with practice. All modules of the Higher Degree in Prosthetic Audiology have a high content of practices.
You will learn to perform audiological examinations to analyze the functionality of the ear; You will select the most appropriate type of hearing aid for each patient, regulating the implanted hearing aids and adapting the non-implanted ones. You will practice making anatomical adapters and hearing protectors based on the morphological characteristics of the ear and the devices that will be housed inside.
With our FP in Prosthetic Audiology you will train in the best laboratories and simulated environments equipped with the latest technology so that you can practice in a real way and learn practically.
In addition, our Higher Degree FP specializes in Therapeutic Communication, where you will develop the knowledge and skills necessary for a better ability to relate and interact with patients and other health professionals, guaranteeing better professional intervention.

Curriculum
The Higher Degree in Prosthetic Audiology Curriculum contains subjects in which you will learn to select and adapt hearing aids using audiological assessment tools and to monitor your patients and the maintenance of their prostheses. You will also learn to evaluate sound levels and determine acoustic protection measures.

First course
