Introduction
The Global Bachelor's Degree in International Relations of the Universidad Europea offers an integrated interdisciplinary program that includes courses in Politics, Law, Sociology and Economics.
This double title brings together two essential and complementary elements of the social sciences, which provide a solid base of knowledge applicable to the field of socio-economic and commercial relations that dominate the world today. A comprehensive, rigorous, and international program that offers a solid academic and practical training in the business world. It encompasses, holistically, knowledge in the global business world from the perspective of economic, business and commercial relations and from the specific perspective of international relations.
With a 100% curriculum in English and international stays, among others, at Pace University (New York), McGill (Canada), London School of Economics and Political Science, San Diego State University, or Hunan (China).
International Relations are some of the most traditional studies in our University, because we were one of the first universities in Madrid that taught it as their own degree, not as a specialization in political science.
This vision has given us the possibility of creating a degree that gives you the tools, knowledge and skills that will facilitate your incorporation into public and private institutions with a significant advantage to develop a career in business, journalism, politics or activism with international projection.
It examines the role of states, international alliances, NGOs and multinational companies and their impact on the globalized world; analyzes the key issues in the current political and economic order such as sovereignty, environmentalism, development and human rights; it includes the expansion of markets, the globalization of the economy, financial and migratory flows, the creation of supranational entities and the sustainability of the welfare state. Prepare to lead.
A practical methodology, based on challenges: CHALLENGE BASED LEARNING
With our academic model you will face real situations in the working world from different perspectives.
"Learning based on challenges". This is our philosophy and we believe that it is the best way to consolidate the theoretical knowledge necessary to sustain a successful professional career.
That is why, from the first day, you will practice in class and you will finish your journey through the University in one of the entities with which we have agreements such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, ACNUR, Red Cross, BBVA, Agencia EFE, Greenpeace , Doctors of the World or the International Juvenile Justice Observatory of Belgium.
You can also be part of our IRClub Universidad Europea and the Cooperation Club and develop numerous tasks in the field of International Relations with your colleagues.
Receive an interprofessional education. At the Universidad Europea learn through a pedagogical model that encourages work in common among students from different areas, in order to simulate real professional environments in which collaboration between different teams is essential to develop successful projects.
Development of "soft skills". The large law firms seek professionals with a clear balance between academic, highly specialized training, and the development of professional skills and abilities.
Laureate Professional Assessment (LPA) is a pioneer certificate in our country, developed by the Universidad Europea . Evaluates a total of eight competences identified as the most demanded by companies in the labor market.
