Curriculum
A study plan designed based on the needs of the professional sector.
During the first years of the bachelor’s degree, you will acquire general knowledge to later discover the field in which you would like to develop professionally, all while being guided by your instructors. From the beginning, you will be able to select electives, either to continue expanding your knowledge of the broad and cross-disciplinary context of the field or to specialize based on your profile and interests, if you wish to do so.
You can choose from three honors options— Health and Physical Activity, Leisure and Sports Management, and Sports Training—and from more than twelve sports categories (winter sports, golf, nature activities, etc.).
The School offers innovative subjects that are not taught at other universities, such as golf, winter sports (with an internship at the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort), and nature activities (caving, winter movement techniques, interpretation of topographic maps, and more). The depth with which these and other sports are covered allows students to pursue one or more specializations.
In addition, you will be able to build your CV by earning certifications as:
- a Certified Personal Trainer (CTP) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA, a prestigious international organization.

Internships
External internship regulations
Internships are a key component of your training. Acquiring experience after what you have learned in your degree is the best way to enter the employment market. There are two types of internships: curricular – which are included in your study plan – and extracurricular – which you can do voluntarily.
To complete curricular internships in companies, you will need to have 50% of the credits approved and registered before starting your internship. These internships are monitored by the company and the internship coordinator, and interim and final reports are prepared for evaluation.
If you want to take your work experience to the next level before finishing your university education, you can pursue an extracurricular internship. You can do them in any academic year, but keep in mind that internships are a formative complement to your studies; therefore, the more knowledge you have acquired throughout your studies, the more you will benefit from the internship experience.
