Introduction
Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry
At the School of Biomedical and Health Sciences you will learn through an innovative educational model that encourages interprofessional education with other healthcare professionals, just like you will in your professional future. You will get insight into professional practice with clinical internships supervised by active professionals, based on resolving real clinical cases in simulated or virtual reality environments, in pioneering laboratories in Spain equipped with the latest technology developments.
From the fourth year onwards, a large part of your training will be carried out in our University Dental Clinics. Nearly 100 hours in which you will treat realpatients, from diagnosis to comprehensive treatment, under the supervision of your professors. The clinics have more than 9400 consultations and perform more than 16000 treatments a year. There, you’ll learn about fully computerized systems and the latest dental and management trends and technologies. At the end of your clinical training you will have carried out an average of 200 treatments in the different dental specialties including endodontics, prostheses and surgery.
