Introduction
The Master in Economic Policy has a very international profile and focuses on policy-related scientific research. The two modules allow you to shape the programme according to your interests.
During the programme, you will have plenty of opportunities to integrate the practical experience into your education: write a Master's thesis, follow guest lectures, take part in a Career Development Track, etc.
Once you've obtained your degree, you'll find that Economic Policy graduates are in high demand on the job market.

Programme content
The Master in Economic Policy carries a workload of 60 ECTS credits. The one-year study programme is full-time and runs from the end of September to July. Examinations take place in January and June.
All students enrolled on this Master's programme take three compulsory courses:
- Applied Welfare Economics
- Macroeconomics
- Applied Econometrics
- Research Methods in Economics
You have a choice between two modules:
- Public Policy: This module focuses on public policies in, for example, labour, environment, health, inequality, and education, emphasizing both efficiency and equity.
- Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets: This module focuses on monetary policy, public finance, financial regulation, and financial economics
