Unmanned Aviation Systems (UAS) is an important emerging technology with an expanding range of applications. Drones are being used regularly in energy, agriculture, transportation, emergency services, natural resources, photography, mapping, recreation, and the list is growing. Drones will share airspace with manned aviation, and the need for safe pilots is a priority. The TSJC UAS program focuses on training an upcoming and needed workforce to become safe and proficient pilots. A first step is to earn your FAA small UAS pilots certificate, followed by additional certifications and various flight experiences to bolster your marketability in this profession.
