Trent’s Biomedical Science program is the only one of its kind in Ontario and gives you the opportunity to step ahead in your future medical or health research career working alongside leading professors in world-class laboratories and facilities.

Combine your passion for biology and health in the pursuit of a career in medicine and related fields. Studying in this first-of-its-kind degree program in Ontario, you will explore a range of topics in the classroom and lab, including cell biology, anatomy, biochemistry, and biomedical ethics, and put your course learning into practice with an emphasis on experiential learning in professional health environments. You will also learn from leading practitioners through the program’s unique health placement, where you can immerse yourself in a health care environment, shadowing doctors and witnessing medicine in action – a rare experience at the undergraduate level.
